get to know madeline!

What's up! I'm Madeline, but most people call me Maddy, sometimes MG for fun! I'm a current senior at Penn State, getting a BFA degree in musical theatre!
I'm from Los Angeles but moved to Nashville during my freshman year of college.
My first experience with theatre was at the age of 9, when I auditioned for "The Wizard of Oz" at a Los Angeles children's theater. I shockingly got the role of Dorothy and sang “Somewhere Over The Rainbow" while being nipped and scratched by the live dog playing Toto, and the audience never knew!
It was then that I was officially bit by the acting bug and also a dog.
As the years went on I got involved in other forms of art like improv comedy, A Cappella, Dance, stage fighting, kung fu, Musical instruments and film.
I love working with children. While attending Penn State I was a Harmony counselor. I also volunteered at Camp No Limits, which is a camp for children with limb loss. I would teach the children how to fence, sing, and do improv games. I loved giving back and watching kids fall in love with what I love.
When I'm not performing, I love to write songs, play soccer, crochet, nap and watch my favorite movie, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.
